Well I have an idea for a piece that i may do.

I'm actually setting up a new business with a friend, a beauty based photo retouching site. Hopefully this would be the bread winner, then i can concentrate on illustration part time later on.

But you know how it is, a little art block, then feeling like your works not worthy etc

That's a great idea! I hope you guys are successful. You're really talented, I'm sure you can do it. Have you heard of elance.com? Companies put up jobs they need done, and users submit bids and examples of their work...I've seen a lot for beauty and other Photoshop retouches. The site's free to sign up for one category, you should check it out!

I hope we are successful, fingers crossed*.

It seems like an unexploited area, although there are alot of businesses doing it they seem to be small players in a large market. Strangely No current retouchers advertise in traditional media, mags, papers etc
Yeah I had a look on elance for a web designer. The site is going to be an e commerce site rather than one individual person. Picwash.com is the model we're aiming for. Apparently they went from 5 designers to 30 in two years, they set up 3 years ago.

Advertising in print is an awesome idea. I get a photography magazine and I've never seen an ad like that. Picwash seems like a cool site...but yours will be cooler, I'm sure. :) That'd be great if your company got so popular you had to hire more people! If you ever need to open an office in USA..let me know. ;) Ahhh sorry for making your arm hurt, it's your fault for giving such thorough responses. ;)
